It’s been a while since I posted a Vlog on youtube. I’ve been thinking a lot about what I want my channel to be and what I came up with is that I want to tell stories. Honest stories. And I want to introduce you to some of the people I run across that I find interesting, or things and places I find interesting.
Hoami Vu, for instance, is a girl with a troubled past that has used those scars to elevate herself rather than let them destroy the potential God put in her. Her father is Vietnamese and fled his home country when the Vietnam war ended and went to school in Slovakia. Her mother was born and raised in Cuba, but the communist government granted permission for her to attend school in Slovakia as well. That is where Hoami’s mother and father met. They married and returned to Cuba to live, and Hoami was born. Life was hard there, so Hoami’s father left to find a better life for the family, but the marriage didn’t survive the distance.
Hoami tried to connect with her father later on, but the relationship was strained. She left and lived with an aunt in the US and then, later on, she reunited with her mother.
She admits to having a lot of anger, but she found Mixed Martial Arts and the sport has become a healthy place for her to channel those emotions.
Hoami lives in the Miami area and is a professional poker dealer but has dreams of owning her own business and is working toward that.
And thank you for subscribing to my Youtube Channel
